Field Report =Superb facilities and very friendly. Muenster is a very pleasant place to spend an overnight stay, with a good choice of accomodation.

I arrived on Sunday when the buses into the town aren't so frequent - about one every two hours - but during the rest of the week they run much more often, and the fare is only DEM 8.20. A taxi costs about DEM 60.00.

The airport charged me only DEM 17.00 for landing and one night's parking which I thought was incredibly good value.

I can also make my own recommendation of the airport at Bremen where I flew to the following day. Once again, everyone was very friendly and helpful and the airport is only 7km from the city centre - a short taxi ride or 20 mins on the tram.

The city of Bremen is also a pleasant place for an overnight stay and the airport charged just DEM 42.00 for the landing fee and overnight parking.
