Field Report = We flew to Luxembourg by Warrior in July 2000.

The field is very busy and during the approach, you may be required to hold, especially during busy peak periods (eg early evening). Make sure you take plenty of reserve fuel (we held for 30 minutes before they could fit us in between IFR traffic).

They have radar and ILS etc. and a massive 4000 metre runway.

As with at any big airport, it takes time to get around. The GA ramp is a long way from the terminal building and is a 4 minute bus ride. It is also quite difficult to get to flight planning and Met because you have to go through passport control before you can reach them. Luxair, the handling agents, provide transport to the aircraft and will organise fuel. At time of visit, landing was £4.16, parking £1.67 and handling £8.33. Fuel was 94p/litre.
