Field Report = we were passing through on the way to Spain, visiting friends in the area, which is quite hilly and very picturesque.

Like most French airports, they take the lunch hour seriously (the further south you go, the worse it gets) so if you want fuel at that time it's best to ask in advance. I took a friend for a short flight, and it was strictly "auto-information", no-one on the base radio, but at times it gets quite busy because there's a military helicopter training school there. There's a restaurant, and it's right next to the town. For us it served a purpose, but is well worth a visit in its own right.
