The best GA airfield for Paris. Under the Paris TMA and in busy airspace, so the correct approach plate and procedure are essential, but I've always found ATC very helpful.

Parallel runways 07 L & R, 25 L & R. Both are used at the same time - don't be surprised to see another aircraft turning finals below you and across your path.

If you plan to stay for several days, ask to park on the grass - it's a lot cheaper.

3 miles from Versailles - makes a very pleasant Summer day trip to see the château. There are several excellent restaurants in Versailles.

The RER (suburban railway system) runs from Versailles straight into the centre of Paris, which avoids the agony of the péripherique.
